Description Biodegradable polymers. Can be used to make block copolymers.
Polycaprolactone diol (PCL-diol) can be used to polymerize methyl methacrylate (MMA) together with polytetrahydrofuran diol (PTHF-diol) and ceric ammonium nitrate. The product can be used to prepare biocompatible poly(ester urethane) urea (PEUU), and can also be used as a precursor for polyurethane (PU) thermoplastic polymers.
Application Polycaprolactone diol(PCL-diol) may be used as a precursor to biodegradable and bioresorbable polycaprolactone. PCL-diol in combination with polytetrahydrofuran diol (PTHF-diol) and ceric ammonium nitrate may be used to initiate polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA).
Features And Benefits Non-toxic and good biocompatibility
