Description It is a water-soluble hydrocolloid mucoadhesive based on poly (vinyl alcohol).

Application PVA is used as a biological reagent to test the dispersion of zinc oxide nanoparticles. PVA has been evaluated as an effective protein resistant material.2 It may be used to stabilize gold colloids of diameter 3-8nm.

Features And Benefits The product at pH 8.5 has a couple of advantages over other mounting media:
it's a liquid when the sample is mounted and solidifies after several hours, forming a permanent bond between the coverslip and slide
