- Electronics Waterproofing Coating
Electronic products that have been exposed to liquids, moisture, or humid environments have been known to fail. Alfa Chemistry offers a variety of PCB and electrical waterproof coating solutions to help customers achieve better barrier performance. The performance of all electronic goods is improved by our award-winning waterproof coating, which protects the circuit board against accidental and complete immersion. Do you want to learn more? Please contact us to learn more about how we can assist you with your waterproof electronic products!
The most common waterproof electrical materials in the business are as follows:
The nature of the product, your budget, and your requirements all play a role in determining which of our coating options is best for your application. In terms of PCB protection, for example, the PCB may be subjected to high temperatures or chemicals. Acrylic is not a good choice in this scenario since it cannot resist high heat. P-xylene is a superior alternative when complete protection is required at severe temperatures. The negative is that it is extremely costly.
Waterproof materials can assist decrease damage from damp situations, but to cope with all of the other primary difficulties, you'll need a good PCB design program. You must first ensure that your design is reasonable before worrying about how it will react to moisture. Our engineers may perform DRC checks to confirm that the circuit meets industry standards and has all of the features and functions it needs. Please contact our knowledgeable staff for further information.
Alfa Chemistry can supply a variety of electronics waterproofing nanocoatings, including but not limited to:
Parylene Conformal Coating
Electronic goods in a variety of areas can benefit from parylene's strong and proven protection. It has the ability to penetrate deep into the smallest gaps in some of the most intricate printed circuit board assembly topography, and it acts as a formidable barrier at the microscopic level.
On the package components that make up the PCBA, we employ chemical vapor deposition (CVD) to create a homogeneous and ultra-thin parylene conformal coating that can withstand environmental dangers such rain, salt water, humid air, minerals, and bodily fluids.
The coating has ultra-thin and light weight properties, as well as a uniform coating thickness, a transparent layer, thermal stability, and high chemical resistance.
